Day 2 of this 31-day adventure, Best gaming session since August 2015. Oh this one is kind of tuff, I really want to talk about the two games when the same player got captured twice for different reasons, but that is two sessions not one.
So it is a good thing that we have started test playing the Final Dream, because that is where the best session comes from. On the opening day of the game, the players meet father bob, the Priest of the city. They find out everything that they need to know about the Quest and then decide that the best thing to do is take care of the easy stuff first.
Enter Eric, the man at the Bay. The idea the players had was how hard is it for six people to fight one person. The first problem was that they did not know that Eric was a level 3 fighter with an AC of 2. The second problem was that even with the Bless spell only two of the characters could hit Eric.
At the start of the fight one cleric thought it would be a good idea to cast Bless and it was, the other cleric thought it would be a good idea to cast Detect Magic, and that was not such a good idea because there was no magic, and now they are not going to be able to cast a healing spell.
Eric started attacking Juan the fighter, because he thought that was going to be the one character that was going to give him the most trouble, but it was the cleric/fighter that was the only one that was able to hit him. So Eric killed him in two turns.
At some point Juan decided that it would be a good idea to try and tackle Eric, when this happened Juan missed the attack and almost got hit by the magic-user who also missed his attack. While lying on the ground Juan thought it would be a good idea to bite Eric in the Knee, that worked but only for a few points of damage.
In the end the hero’s lost the fight and most of them died, so until next time keep gaming.
